A kids’ film starring Tim Robbins and released by Fox sounds like The Seeker-level of terrible movie.  But the visuals of City of Ember borrow heavily from Gilliam, Bill Murray plays the mayor, and the film seems to be twisted and subversive enough to honor kids’ intelligence and become a possibly good (cult) film. At the very least, Fox marketing knocks another trailer out of the park.
